quotes Nope. It is silver with black over the top or something like that. It is a custom color. Yeah I have nothing to compare the CCDB with other than an RP23. The CCDB has so many effin adjustments it is going to take a year to set it up. It is pretty cool though. Yeah long uphill trail rides and big jumps/fr on the same bike. That's what I wanted. This thing def doesn't climb like it is a 7" bike. Took it on a longer xcountry ride the other day and only had to hike a bike twice. Pretty sweet.

quotes It is crazy. Pumped too cause I love the way it looks. The chrome black paint is amazing in person. Could stare at it for hours...Yeah that fro stuff is scary and a weird direction for making a bike IMO. This thing def feels burly. Came in around 36.5 lbs. Ride is amazing. I am still getting the CCDC dialed in. I think the geo on it is way more on the pedal friendly side than the SOCOM, but it can be slack'd out with all the adjustments. I have no complaints so far and am not even close to riding it at full potential yet. I guess the only problem I have had is finding a dual ring chain guide that will work with the VPP suspension design.

quotes Oh wow...I didn't even notice the other 2012's had a different top tube then mine....thought it was just the new design. It must be the small size frames that have a different top tube??? Will have to look into this a bit more.

quotes Thanks! I am very excited to get it on the trails and start dialing it in. I haven't decided if I want to run a dropper or not...do you have one on your longer travel trail bike?

Hey, still winter at my place... it's been a long one. The first few trails are open around town, so I've been riding a bit and did some maintenance work. Mostly bucking up winter windfall.
I've been watching the progress on your guys' skills park, looking good!

Yes, this must be your busy time... mine is coming up in the spring. I own a small store located inside a museum/heritage site, so its open only in the summer season... open 7 days/week and very busy.

That would certainly be my dream job... I just live to remote, I think no one would come out that far... but working as a builder would be a good alternative. I spent way to much time working indoors and need to have an outside job.

Congrats! Your bike park made it into the new Bike Magazine. Page 36 has a story on bike parks in America "Ride For Free'. There's a nice little write up on your park.
